Using GroatSite

GroatSite provides a website-design application, account services and prepaid Groat credits for supported AI-assisted website work. You must provide accurate account information, keep your login details secure and use the service lawfully.

Your website files

You remain responsible for your website files, content, backups, hosting arrangements and publishing decisions. GroatSite Designer is intended to help you work with website files; you must review changes, test your website and decide whether to save or publish it.

Groats and AI requests

Groats are prepaid credits used for supported AI requests. A successful AI request uses Groats based on the request’s recorded usage and the applicable pricing settings. Review, application and publication of a proposed change are separate choices; choosing not to apply a proposal does not reverse a charge for a successful request.

Groat packs, prices and availability may change for future purchases. Purchased Groats are recorded on your account and are not transferable or redeemable for cash except where required by law.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. If you believe a payment or Groat charge is incorrect, contact us with the relevant account email and transaction details. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights you may have.

Acceptable use

You must not use GroatSite to create, upload, process or publish unlawful content, infringe another person’s rights, introduce malware, probe or interfere with the service, or attempt to access another person’s account or information.

Service availability

We aim to keep GroatSite available and reliable, but the service, third-party payment processing, AI processing and email delivery may occasionally be unavailable or changed. Keep your own backups and do not rely on GroatSite as your only copy of important website files.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, GroatSite is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by your publishing or hosting decisions, or loss arising from website content you provide or approve. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Contact and changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means the updated terms apply from their effective date. For questions, use our contact form.
